Our friendly staff will pick you up from your hotel and take you to our facility in Rabil, conveniently located next to the international airport. While you attend a safety briefing, you might even catch a glimpse of planes landing or taking off. Once you’re geared up with your helmet, goggles, and scarf, you’ll have a test drive on our closed circuit to ensure you’re comfortable and ready to begin your adventure!
The tour kicks off with a scenic drive towards the culturally and historically rich village of Rabil. From there, we’ll head south into the Cape Verdean Death Valley, making our way to Santo Antonio’s church. This will be our first stop, where you can capture some amazing photos and learn about the area’s fascinating history.
Driving east through a desert of stones and rocks, the landscape shimmers like a mirage under the sun. Despite the dry terrain, after about 20 minutes, we’ll reach the “Oasis de Fonte Vicente.” Here, local farmers have cultivated fields over time, taking advantage of a small local water spring marked by a magnificent baobab tree.
Take a moment for our second stop to admire this hidden treasure before continuing your journey on a dusty path leading north. This path will eventually bring us back to the cobblestone road, guiding us to our starting point in Rabil. This quick stop is ideal for snapping photos and soaking in the serene atmosphere before concluding your adventure.
